What makes ThatScanner different from other AI document tools?

Every scanner is powered by Atlas, a deterministic retrieval engine. Unlike RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), Atlas does not guess which sections are related -- it traces exact references. A provision on page 30 and a contradicting clause on page 1,200 are linked by their actual section numbers, not by embedding similarity. This means zero missed cross-references, regardless of document length.
Is my data stored or shared?

No. Documents are processed in memory and discarded after analysis. Nothing is stored on our servers. On Enterprise plans with on-prem deployment, your data never leaves your own infrastructure.
What counts as a "scan"?

One scan = one document uploaded and analyzed. Re-scanning the same document with a different perspective counts as a separate scan. Exporting results to DOCX does not count as a scan.
Can I try before I buy?
